Provenance Narrative
Bookplates and stamps document Richard Ashhurst Bowie’s ownership, Mary Bryant Pratt Brandegee’s 1908 memorial gift to Harvard, Harvard duplicate processing in 1939, and later Dartmouth custody. The transfer from Harvard to Dartmouth is an unresolved gap because no separate transfer document has been located.
