Kershaw’s Catalogue of Modern Books lists the Report among Tait’s books received by Lambeth in 1883, under shelfmark 57.H.3. Tait’s armorial bookplate dates from his tenure as Bishop of London.
Why This Copy Matters
The presentation letter states that four hundred copies were privately printed, mostly for subscribers, and that the printing stones ‘are now destroyed.’
